Sahibzada Farhan gave a good response in the first over but he was out of unfortunately. And his score was 16 off 11 balls, which included 2 fours and 1 sixes. Saim Ayub was also out. Just after that, Fakhar Zaman, Salman Ali Agha and Muhammad Haris handled the powerplay. Where Pakistan’s score in the powerplay was 50 for 3 wickets out.

Fakhar Zaman came in and changed the course of the match. After the opener was dismissed, Fakhar took the match forward. He had a partnership with Mohammad Haris first and then Salman, but the fine batting of Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Nawaz helped the team to put up a big total. Which included 10 fours and a six.

The partnership of Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Nawaz drove the team’s car. Their partnership scored 91 runs in 51 balls. Fakhar Zaman scored 77 runs in 44 balls and Mohammad Nawaz scored 37 runs in 27 balls, giving a target of 172. UAEE loss the momentum when Mohammad Jawadullah gave away 22 runs in the 20th over. UAE bowled well in the first overs. They had dismissed 3 of Pakistan’s wickets in the powerplay itself. Haider Ali made Pakistan nervous in the middle overs, but the last 2 overs turned into a thriller. Haider Ali gave away 17 runs in 4 overs and also took 2 wickets.

UAE Power Play Highlights 

UAE came under pressure from the start. Pakistan’s bowlers used good line and length and worked on the spell. As a result, UAE could only score 41 runs for the loss of 0 wickets in the powerplay. In which captain Mohammad Wasim scored only 18 runs off 18 balls and Ali Sharif scored 19 runs off 18 balls.

After that, the first delivery of Abrar Ahmed, which was dismissed by Mohammad Wasim, scored 18 runs off 19 balls. He had hit a four and a six. Now Ethan Dosuza and Ali Shan Sharif led their team. He wanted to pull the match towards him by hitting Mohammad Nawaz for one and two sixes. But it was so easy because the required run rate was going up. He has been trying his best even after captain Wasim, Ethan ,Asif and Rahul Chopra. We won the match with a very strong batting. But by then it was too late. Ali Sharif hit four fours and four sixes in his innings. But he did not teach his team to win.

The first bowler of UAE had controlled the Pakistani batsman. And till 16 overs, Pakistan’s score was 108. But after that, there was a good game. In the last 4 overs, the bowlers gave 64 runs. And in that, there were some 2 overs them give 42 runs. Actually, this was the main reason for UAE’s loss. Their score of 108 till 16 overs was chaseable. And second reason a well partnership Fakhar Zaman and Muhammad Nawaz .

    Lack of a Strong Partnership

The biggest challenge for UAE was that their batting line-up could not form a long and match-winning partnership. Every time a set batsman was dismissed, a new batsman came under pressure. Due to which the scoreboard kept increasing. If there had been a good partnership in the middle overs, it would have changed the course of the match. Ali Shan Sharif played well but no one supported him.
